2023 Chevrolet Equinox AWD 4dr LS

2023 Chevy Equinox LS AWD, 103K Hiway Miles - (Hiway miles do not put anywhere near the wear and tear on a vehicle as does your typical city/hi-way miles combined). I have had a mechanic at Lee's Summit Subaru tell me that in his opinion 100K miles on the hi-way causes about the same amount of wear and tear on a vehicle as 20k miles of stop and go, city driving. On the hiway you are not taxing the engine to keep it going at the same speed it already is. It's the stopping and starting in city driving that is asking the engine to continually take a vehicles dead weight from a dead stop to 25-45 mph over and over again. Also on the hiway you are not going up and down thru the gears wearing out the transmission, and you are not stopping and starting and making turns, wearing out the suspension. These are the 3 main wear components for all vehicles. You save a bundle because the miles are high for the year, but since they are hi-way miles, it makes for a tremendous value. I purchased this Equinox from a company that specifically leases to other corporations for their sales reps. One sales rep is assigned to each vehicle, and a stringent maintenance schedule is required as a condition of the lease. If you were to drive this 23 Chevy Equinox, and did not look at the odometer, you would think it drove like a vehicle with 1/4 the amount of miles that it actually has.
